About Lauren…

Welcome, I’m so glad you found me!

I’m Lauren (she/her), call me LT if you’d like!

I’m a Biracial Black and White Hispanic therapist living in Los Angeles. I could eat sushi for every meal, cuddle my dog Brooklyn for hours, & watch The Pitt until the power goes out (then keep watching on my phone until the battery dies). I enjoy curling up with a good book, when it rains, & spending hours baking in the sun, when it’s not. Despite California stereotype, hiking is not my deal, but I’ll jump at the chance to wander a museum any chance I get.

My therapeutic approach is one of collaboration, connection, trust, & respect. As a team, we’ll address & overcome the barriers blocking you from living the life you deserve. I help Black and Biracial women as well as ALL marginalized folks conquer anxiety, depression, trauma, throughout all life transitions in order to lead a life that is more authentic and fulfilling. As a certified Mindfulness Educator trained in Brainspotting, I believe in incorporating mindfulness practice into our therapeutic work to strengthen your ability to remain present & mindful throughout your journey, both in therapy & beyond.

The goal is not just to survive, but to thrive! In our work together, I will never insist I know the best way, but rather walk beside you, providing support & care while you discover your own true path to balance & fulfillment.

I look forward to meeting you!

Me Outside of Therapy

As a therapist who works with trauma, my self-care is paramount to staying present with you! In my spare time, here’s what I love to do:

  • Reading romance novels (if the love interest has wings, all the better)

  • Salsa dancing

  • Strength training

  • Volunteering/Mentorship: I’m currently a District Director for Sigma Kappa Sorority providing targeted DEIA support for collegiate chapters

  • Enjoying a gorgeous patio in the SoCal sunshine!

  • Waiting until a show completes entirely and then binge watching it in a weekend wrapped up like a burrito

  • My OWN therapy! I believe every therapist should have their own experience of therapy and healing. Practice what you preach!
